COVID-19

COVID-19: Our Commitment

As our team continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation very closely, we wanted to reach out and keep you informed with the steps we are taking to keep our employees and clients safe.

As events, meetings, and conferences are being cancelled, we ask you to please notify us within at least 24 hours’ of your order date. We appreciate your business and our relationships we have with you.

As a catering/events company & restaurant, we are doing everything we can to ensure our staff, clients, and suppliers stay safe when entering our kitchen, stores, and dining area. We have implemented additional measures to ensure your safety as well as the safety of our staff, including:

Supporting our employees is our priority

We are recommending employees to stay home from work if they experience any symptoms or have recently traveled abroad to impacted areas.

Cleanliness in our Retail Stores and Dining Area

We are introducing enhanced cleaning protocols, with particular focus on high traffic and contact areas. Corona viruses are easily eliminated by routine surface cleaning and the cleaning products we are using is industrial-grade and food-service approved

Under the recommendations issued on March 16, 2020 by Dr. David Williams, Ontario's Chief Medical Officer of Health and by Mayor Bonnie Crombie, we will be closing the dining area at our Palma's Kitchen location (3485 Semenyk Court) until further notice.

Please be advised that we will continue to serve all customers for take-out and delivery only

Changes to our coffee refill and self-serve procedures

We’ve changed some of our procedures – we no longer are taking used cups to refill coffees. New coffee cups will be given for anyone asking for a refill. In addition, we have removed the self-serve option for coffee and soups and will be handled behind the counter from our staff.

In addition, we have also removed all of our sampling stations until further notice.

Serving you

To protect yourself and others, we ask that anyone who is feeling unwell refrain from visiting our locations.

We continue to monitor this situation closely and will provide ongoing updates as needed. We also encourage you to stay up-to-date with Canada’s Public Health website.
